BIOGRAPHY
Morrisa Jeanine was born in Savannah, Ga; she is the first born child of Morris and Barbara Elliott. Morrisa was discovered back in the very year she was born, Morrisa was apart of the Gerber Baby commercials, her parents began to showcase her talents from the very beginning. Starting at the young age of 2, Morrisa won in numerous of beauty pageants, talent shows and other contest in Georgia. Morrisa was only 7 years old when she was placed in the calender and TV commercial for Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Ga. Only 10 years old when she began playing the saxophone. Morrisa began songwriting for other artist as well as herself at the age of 12. Morrisa moved to (metro) Atlanta, Ga in 2001. At the age of 14 she became a recording artist and had began artist development. She became a YouTube singing sensation as she covered popular songs her fan base on YouTube and Myspace grew continuously. In 2005, Morrisa was part of the local popular singing trio Pha'Ness. "Ay What's Up Boy" was the groups hit song, which was released late 2005 online and within thier high school Central Gwinnett High School. Pha'Ness most memorable performance was for United Way back in 2006. Pha'Ness had officially broken up in 2008, and Morrisa decided to go solo and start on her very own projects. In 2008, Morrisa Jeanine joined a production label and began to song write for upcoming artist to build her songwriting catalogue. In 2009, Morrisa had reunited with Pha'Ness group member and formed a songwriting team, TeamINK. In 2012, Because of many near death experiences and drama issues during her time with this production label Morrisa made the decision to break all ties with them. The violence and physical abuse that Morrisa encountered from her previous producer had landed her in the hospital twice and finally drove her away from continuing to do business with this production label. Shortly after leaving, she had independently released her first music project, a mixtape The Good Ol' Stuff. Morrisa is currently working on her next musical project Untold Stories which is also a personal documentary from MJ herself.
